Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using IronFuel - Fitness & Nutrition ("App", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Brandon Evans ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"), the developer of IronFuel (Bundle ID: com.bevans1017.ironfuel).

By using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

IronFuel is a fitness and nutrition tracking application designed for bodybuilders, weightlifters, and individuals pursuing fat loss or physique-focused goals. The Service includes:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

IronFuel offers two account modes:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at bevans1017@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not create accounts on behalf of another person or use another person's account without permission.

4. Subscription Terms

Plans available:

Billing and Auto-Renewal:

Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and managed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation:

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until that date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, consistent with Apple's standard policies.

Free Trial (if offered):

If a free trial is available, it will be disclosed at the point of subscription. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.

Price Changes:

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will notify you in advance of any price changes. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

All subscription purchases, renewals, and refund requests are subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside of Apple's policies.

5. Subscription & Cancellation Policy

Auto-Renewal

IronFuel Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID will be charged at confirmation of purchase.

How to Cancel

Since IronFuel is an iOS app, all subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find IronFuel and tap Cancel Subscription

You can also cancel via the App Store app under your account subscriptions.

Access After Cancellation

After cancelling, you retain Pro access until the end of your current paid billing period. Your account then reverts to the free tier automatically. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

Refunds

All refund requests are handled by Apple per their standard refund policy. IronFuel does not process refunds directly. To request a refund contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price Changes

We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Free Features

Cancelling Pro does not delete your account or data. All free features remain available after cancellation.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

7. User Data

When you use IronFuel, we collect and store the following data to provide the Service:

Data for authenticated users is stored securely in Supabase, our cloud database provider. Guest user data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at bevans1017@gmail.com.

8. AI-Generated Content

IronFuel uses Claude AI (developed by Anthropic) to generate personalized meal plans, recipe suggestions, and workout programs.

Important Disclaimer: AI-generated meal plans, nutritional recommendations, and workout programs are provided for informational and motivational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, dietary advice, or professional fitness instruction. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider, registered dietitian, or certified fitness professional before starting any new diet or exercise program.

AI output may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or suggestions that are not appropriate for your individual health circumstances. You use AI-generated content at your own risk. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.

AI-generated content is produced dynamically and may vary between sessions. We do not guarantee that the same inputs will always produce identical outputs.

9. Third-Party Services

IronFuel integrates with several third-party services to deliver its features. Your use of the App is also subject to their respective terms and policies:

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or conduct of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Age Restriction (COPPA Compliance)

IronFuel is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate that user's account.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the App or provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at bevans1017@gmail.com.

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian before using the App.

11. Medical Disclaimer

IronFuel is not a medical application. The App and all content within it — including AI-generated meal plans, macro targets, calorie recommendations, and workout programs — are for general fitness and informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.

Before starting any new diet, nutrition plan, or exercise program, you should consult with a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other licensed healthcare professional, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns.

The calorie and macro calculations provided by the App are estimates based on standard formulas (such as the Mifflin-St Jeor equation) and may not accurately reflect your individual metabolic needs. Individual results will vary.

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment because of information you have received from this App.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Brandon Evans and IronFuel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the App or its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

This includes, without limitation, damages for:

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 USD if you have not made any payments).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where feasible, notify you via the App or email.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The current version is always available at bevans1017-del.github.io/terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.
